Purpose
Superglue fuming is the preferential method for developing the latent sweat fingerprint on non-porous surface, but it’s not suitable for greasy prints.

Working principle
The ethyl cyanoacrylate monomer in the superglue volatilizes and the gas molecules polymerize on the fingerprint ridges to produce white substance.
Method
A. Place the exhibit in a closed cabinet, heat to gasify the superglue. Fume the exhibit with superglue gas until the white fingerprint appears.
B. If the contrast of the fingerprint developed with superglue is too weak, improve it with dye, UV photography or directional reflection photography.
Advantages
Ordinary superglue reagent adheres to the observation window of the fuming cabinet to form a layer of white substance, which is extremely difficult to remove and hinders the observation. The degumming superglue reagent can also form a layer of white substance on the cabinet window, but it’s easy to remove.
